Refrigerator Rolls - [[Sears]]


1 cup milk 1 cake compressed yeast
¼ cup sugar 1 egg
½ tbsp. salt ⅓ cup fat.
3 cups flour
Melt fat into ½ of milk. Add
sugar & salt. Add remaining milk
& cool until lukewarm. Add yeast
& beaten egg stir well. Work in flour
& let rise to double bulk. Knead
lightly. Place in bowl & store in
refrigerator. When ready for use
the dough maybe kneaded,
shapped & allowed double in
bulk before baking. Bake in a
hot oven 425 °F.
