agent was being adjusted that pay nt [payment]
would be made to me in (Montreal
(Canada) as I have heard nothing
further in the matter would be very
much obliged to you at your convenience
to inform me when same shall
be paid its a long time I have
awaited patiently for a just debt
due me by [W. V. G. ?] and trust
by your kind influence as in
my former claim you will see
