You will please turn over all the property, books papers, Rep[orts?] etc. in your possession belonging to the indian department to L.M. Farren Esq. who has been appointed Superintending Agent for the Nome Cult [Nomi Lackee] Reserve.
In taking leave of you & your estimable Lady, I beg to assure you that your Administration as Supervisor of the Reservation meets my hearty approval, and I can scarcely hope to find another reserve in California in a like flourishing condition.
Mr. Farren is instructed not to interfere with you where you are and to furnish you transportation & assistance when you are ready to leave.
