Fresno County California December 7th 1863 Wm P Dole Esq Commr Ina Affs Dear Sir, Under date of 8th August last 1863, at the request of the Comr of Indian Affs, in his letter of the 22nd June 1863, I made out a full & explicit statement of expenditure, for supplies furnished Fresno Indian agency by each audit [illegible] respectively, commencing in the 1st day of July 1859, and ending with the expiration of my official duties, - Which statement and letter of explanation accompanying, was in or about the 15th of the same ^month mailed to your official address, Washington City DC. - Ample time now having elapsed for the Department to have notified the [parties?] instructed, whether or no, the steelement [settlement] [forwarded?] was deemed by the accou nting offices satisfactory. At the request of the claimants setfourth [setforth] in [illegible] statement, who are somewhat impatient owing tot he long standing and suspence [suspense] in the adjusting [illegible] settlement of those accounts, - Have to request that action may be [head?] by the Department on those accounts at the earliest convenience.

and the results [illegible] know tot he respective credits.
