Charles E [Meist?] Esqr Comr Ind Affs Dear Sir, Your letter of the 19th [ultime?] has just been received, - After having finished the numerous abs tracts, or statements, required by Comr Doles letter of the 12th, March last, - Which abstracts are the results of a careful examination and [compena?] sen of all the original vouchers and receipts in my possession, - showing the [entire?] expenditures, - disburs ments and balance due [credits?], for supplies fur nished and service [rendered?] Fresno Indian agency from the 1st day of July 1838, to 13th March 1861, inclusive, [illegible] of further documents furnished, the Department, other [them?] the original vouchers and receipts. Enclosed with these abstracts which is made with the [making?] of this letter, is a letter of explan ation which is [hope?], with the information given in the abstracts, will be found sufficiently explicit to enable the accounting offices to adjust a settle all claims against Fresno Indian agency without further,
