This will be handed you by A. J. Bryant Esqr of San Francisco [illegible?] Chairman of one Union State Central Committee. Mr Bryant has [illegible?] Drafts payable to G.H. [Sargent?]. The vouchers upon which they were issued were such to Mr Shannon [illegible?] [on?] Members of the House of Representatives by Mr Bryant. [Through?] [illegible?]of Mr Shannon [du?] drafts were issued in the [name?] of Mr [Sargent?]. Will you [illegible?] Mr Bryant [illegible?] his money? He is in every way [illegible?] and I am his voucher.
