I again take the liberty of writing you a few lines in regard to my claim. Some two months ago I sent to your office my Affidavit (as was suggested by the Hon S[illegible?] of Interior). I hope that with the statement of Supt Wentworth, and the Affidavit of my self in regard to the claim. You will be able to give it your favorable consideration I am very anxious to start for Cal and will so do as soon as circumstances will permit. I hope that the Department will honor the claim as it has been long standing [once?] the [services?] have been [illegible] to the U.S Government.
