In [?] Levies (late agent (Four months I recol a comm unication [communication] from the Dept. stating it was to be settled soon, but since that time nothing further have I heard. As the claim is justly due me I would be under many kind obligations to you to prep the matter with the Dept to adjust same. judge levies the late sub Agent in Cal states he has given the Dept at looking for
