Course W.S.W Through night same with cold weather 6 Days out Friday Oct 21 Begins with strong gales from N. W. At 11 AM Shook reefs from Topsails - Set Fore + Main T Gal sails. At Meridian spoke two or three Charleston Pilots. Made land off Charleston at 10 AM. At 6 PM set Royals Night fine light breeze 7 Days out Saturday Oct 22 Fine warm weather with all sail set.
