Report of Comee on Grounds on petitn of Wyeth, late Gate Keeper.

The President, as Chairman of the Committee, sub-
mitted the following report. _

"The Committee on Grounds to whom was re-
ferred the application of Mr B.F. Wyeth, the late Gate-
Keeper report _

That the term of service of Mr Wyeth
having expired, and the Trustees in pursuance of
their duty, and with a view to the good of Mount
Auburn having appointed a new Gate Keeper, no-
further measures are deemed necessary in relation
to this matter."

Accepted by yea & nay-

It was moved by Mr Curtis that the report be ac-
cepted.

Upon motion of Mr Nazro,

Voted that the question be taken by yea and nay.

The motion for acceptance was then passed _
the President, and Messrs Bangs, Cheever, Curtis, Gould
Little and Read voting yea, and Mr Nazro voting
nay. _ 7 to 1 ~

Loring, Abby W.'s proposal to purchase land _

The President submitted a written proposition made
by Abby M. Loring to purchase 2000 feet of land opposite
her lot no. 1350, at the head of Meadow Pond, upon con-
dition that a certain portion of the purchase money shall
be expended in improving Meadow Pond. _

Voted to refer the same to the Committee on Grounds
with full power. ~
