Forest Pond _ to be improved from sales of spaces on Path adjoining _

The President also submitted the following: _

Voted, that such sums as may be received
from sales of spaces between lots on Narcissus Path,
after deducting the amount payable to the Mass. Horicul-
tural Society
and the Permanent Fund, shall be appro-
priated, as far as necessary, to stoning, grading and
turfing the border of Forest Pond, if the Committee
on Grounds deem it expedient:

Upon motion of Mr Curtis,

Voted to refer the same to the Committee on Grounds.

Report of Comee to erect fence around Suptt house _

The President also for the Committee on Grounds, who were
authorized at the meeting in May to have a fence erected
around the Superintendent's premises, at an expense not
exceeding $400. reported _

That the fence had been completed within this
amount appropriated, viz for $350. _

Report of Supt upon his recent visit to New York &c.

A communication was received from Mr. Mann
the Superintendent, being a report of his recent ^authorized visit to
Greenwood and other Cemeteries, and containing recom-
mendations with regard to the construction of catacomb
tombs, and of a change in the system of taking care of lots.

The report was read and explanations given by Mr
Mann
in person in answer to questions. _

Mr. Curtis then submitted the following proposed
addition to the Bye Laws, _ which under the rule
lies over at least seven days ~
