Dear Madam,

Your favor of
yesterday is received. It would
seem at first, that you have just
cause of complaint, but owing
to the drouth that has prevailed
for some weeks and not withstanding
the fact, that the lot has been
watered as much as circumstances
would permit we have been
unable to keep the sod on the graves
in good order. The sod shall be
put in best order as soon as the
weather will permit
