Dear Sir
Your favor of the is received. I enclose a card of the parties who do work of the kind for us. As you are to see them, would it not be as well for you to make your arrangements direct with them, giving them a request for a permit. This would simplify the matter although we can follow out the instructions on your letter if you desire

Dear Sir
Your note of the is received. It appears from your order, that exactly what you ordered has escaped your memory
I therefore enclose a copy, and can send the original to Mr Mackintosh if you desire. I am very sorry that work was done that you do not want. "the order to the contrary nothwithstanding" but as the manure has already been applied I cannot see anything about the Bill that is incorrect. If you wish any change made in the order for the future please notify me
Very Respectfully
