J.M. Spelman Esq
Prest &c.

Dear Sir

In 1878 Mr. John F. Poor requested
the Trustees to exchange his lot #3119 on Rosebay Ave (con-
taining 865 square ft) for two lots on the Stone Farm of the
same size, which they voted to do by his paying for the
perpetual care of the new lots ($865), nothing being allowed
for the graite curbing around lot #3119; but this arrangement
was not satisfactory to Mr Poor.

In 1880 he renewed his request, and the matter
was referred to the Comm. on Lots with power, but no
agreement was arrived at, as to an exchange, and
the lot was finally redivided into two lots, #3119 & #4390
containing 432 1/2 ft each, at Mr Poor's request, and it was
supposed that the matter was finally settled.

Mr Poor has been at the Cemetery this week and
selected the following lots, one of which he proposes to
ask the Comm. to exchange for the two lots #3119 & #4390.
1st lot on Fountain Ave 400 ft. price $1200- (land800 + perpetual care300 + sod'g grad'g post &c100)
2nd [lot on] Smilax path 400 ft [price] $1080- (700 + 300 + 80)

I'm not sure that I transcribed the last several lines correctly. I also could not figure out the word under Spelman's name.
