Just a few lines to thank
you and the Air Force
Auxiliary, for the swell
birthday present. It sure
was a very pleasant and
welcome surprise. With
that kind of backing, I'm
sure the boys will come
through with flying
colours.

Well I'm no heck at
writing letters, so I think
I had better sign off for
now.
