Tuesday, May 9, 1922

A good day I got Carrie
to go to town. and do some
shopping for me this morning
She mailed some of the
things to Josie I [staid]
with the little children
Carrie had [salit] and
Straw Berries for Dinner
This evening Carrie and I
picked about five gallons
Carrie sent some of
her neighbors some and
will preserve the rest
the children and I
went to the creek but
could not find anywhere
to fish [neese?] got me a
pen & ink to night.
