Monday, September 2, 1918

A good day. Ben and Owen fired tobacco all day. Paul suckered tobacco. Ben and Josie went to Strait Stone a few minutes this evening. Josie got dinner. We had snaps and peas the first peas that we had this year. George Blair come over here and got some water melons this evening. Paul and Ben will stay at the barns to night.
9 30 oclock
Josie peeled and put out some apples to dry this evening.
