I am happy to hear from you, &
see that you are one of the [educated?]
of "the great Wesh": and approve your
further enterprize of giving your
neighbors a decent and Christian burial.

I shall be happy to hear from
you at anytime, and to do any
thing that may be in my power
to and in your place for a
Cemetery.

still line, although the old lady is
quite blend.

Henry Gassett Esqr

Dear Sir,

I am directed [by]
the Committee on Lots to notify you
that they have agreed to recommend to the
Trustees to assume the perpetual care
of your lot for eight hundred dollars.

This sum may seem large, but
it is not really so when the size of
your lot and the increasing expenditures
for such care are considered.
