Memorandum for Mr Throckmorton
The transaction of whereof with your father and
Mr Lears is most afferably unjurious. I have
urged Mr L. often myself, and I am told by General
Minor, that he has often urged him, to take
defractions. They are absolutely [?] to
contradict the appearance of [?] on the face
of the bond and deed, and to counteract the plea
of the Harwoods, that they [?] ignorant of the
nature of the debt. To this ought to be added,
if it be true, that whereof I was [?]
Mr. Throckmorton and Mr. Lear's debts were
assigned to the Harwoods by whereof. I am
afraid that the decree in the county court for
the [?] of Mr. Throckmorton's bill, praying
for relief, may operate injuriously, fit
be known; but as yet they seem to have inherited
no idea of it.

But whatever testimony can
be collected, ought to be sent to the clerk's
office, before the 22nd day of May. If
commissions, be wanted, will forward them,
immediately upon being notified.
