Society met, attended to speaking at the Academy hall by previous adjournment, and adjourned to Tuesday evening at half past seven.
Friday July 25 1817 Society met by adjournment. Meeting opened by prayer. The enlargement of the Library being considered of the highest importance for the stability of the Society an unanimous vote was taken to raise the admission sum to fifty cents; also voted to receive into the Society, Charles S. Adams, Isiah Bent Tom, Henry Benedict, Andrew Rankin, Jonas Burnham, Isaac Rogers, Harvey P. Peet, Horatio Brinsmade, Amasa Converse. Adjourned.
Tuesday July 29 1817 Society me, attended to speaking, Roswell C. Smith was chosen Treasurer, Geo E. Adams Door-keeper and adjourned to Friday evening.
Friday August 1 1817 Society met attended to speaking & adjourned.

Tues 12 Society met, part spoke, Fines were fixed at ten cents for absence, five for tardiness. Adjourned to friday eve half past seven, A dissertation "on the voice" was read by [?] F A Brown.

August 15- Society met for the introduction of officers, the validictory address was delivered bu the President; Constitution presented in form by the Com-mitte and accepred by an unanimous vote, the members there proceded to sign it; the [illegible] look was opened and liberally attended to. A few farewell remarks were made by some of the members who were about leave confratula-ting the remaining members on the unonim-ity of the Society so and commending it to the Divine blessing. Meeting was adjourn-ed to the first Tuesdat evenng at half-past secen in the next term.
