Friday evening July 22d 1817

Society met, attended to speaking at the
Academy hall by previous adjournment, and
adjourned to Tuesday evening at half past seven.

Friday July 25 1817
Society met by adjournment. Meeting
opened by prayer. The enlargement of the
Library being considered of the highest
importance for the stability of the Society
an unanimous vote was taken to raise the
admission sum to fifty cents; also voted to
receive into the Society, Charles S. Adams,
Isiah Bent Tom, Henry Benedict,
Andrew Rankin, Jonas Burnham,
Isaac Rogers, Harvey P. Peet, Horatio
Brinsmade, Amasa Converse. Adjourned.

Tuesday July 29 1817
Society me, attended to speaking, Roswell
C. Smith was chosen Treasurer, Geo E. Adams
Door-keeper and adjourned to Friday evening.

Friday August 1 1817 Society met attended
to speaking & adjourned.
