[centred] NEBO.

[From our correspondent.]

There is still a cry of dull times here, and constantly hoping for better, which I trust will soon come. I have very little news to send you this week there being so little doing.

On Thursday 27th ultimo, Tom (a black tracker) was brought up on remand before A. B. J. Chauvel, Esq., J.P., on a charge of murdering a gin at the police camp. There being no further evidence in the matter, no one but blacks having been in camp when the affair occurred, the bench dismissed the prisoner.
