Ian & Vera [ST - his partner Ian Nelson] off to India. It brought back the memory of the last
time we saw the old man off by that train. Lady Sutherland &
Sir George were on the platform. Lady S. says she does not know what
she is to do without Nan. I hope we shall see a lot of her.
I have my speech at the Personal Service meeting this afternoon.
Ask Walter to get back my lecture from [ST - Cunningham?], the reporter.
I am thinking of taking Susie & the children down to the seaside for the
Xmas week.
