My dearest little one
This is a lovely clear Spring
day. I had a busy day in Edinburgh yesterday
with George. Tommie came in in the afternoon
looking very well. He has got 8 days leave, &
is spending two hunting at Philiphaugh,
two at Lennel, two fishing with Roxburgh,
& two fishing with Dunglass. He is in great
form, though very bored with his work.
He hasn't had any leave since August
