I spent a melancholy evening going over the MS of Father's
lectures - or rather studies, for they are more in the nature of essays. I think they
are very good. I remember he wanted me to revise the Introduction, which I
think would be the better of it. The studies themselves are excellent, and it
was very much Father's own subject. I am sending you the MS. to read.
It only makes about 35,000 words, so it would not be a bulky book, even
with the addition of the poems & a few special sermons. Will you
