we motored in a great hurry to Ettrickbridge end, passing
the Shaws! We had a crowded & very appreciative meeting there,
& got home at 10.30. Yesterday was a misty day. In the
afternoon I walked up Yair hill & was nearly caught by the
darkness. To-day again is lovely.
I gave Mrs Roberts your message. I do hope you are
being allowed up now, my little own one, & are feeling much better.
There are constant inquiries from all sorts of people for "the mistress."
I am longing for Thursday night to come. Much love to
the Big Friend & the noble Hun
Ever your devoted
Mr Fozz
