Roberts looked better. There is no
water & no fishing. I am going to
grow a big red beard, for I cut
myself 3 times shaving this morning.
My throat is much better. We
are going on the [Mill] in Selkirk to-day
& then up Yarrow. I may have to go
into Edinburgh to-morrow, in which case it
will be a wild rush
