night. I had the American to dinner
& Bob Cecil, & we had a very
interesting talk. Susie goes back
this morning. It is lovely weather now -
real autumn. Bob Cecil says I
must take a fortnight's holiday, but I
won't get more than 3 or 4 days;
for I am very busy, but very well.
