Russia seems to be marching steadily
frm bad to worse. There is no doubt
but that America & ourselves must
finish the war.
Robbie's harmonium has arrived
& is ensconced in the sewing-room.
I doubt it won't be much used, for
we are not great harmoniumists.
I hope to get down to Kent
this week on the Friday evening.

The Buchans inherited Robbie Macmillan's harmonium, after he was killed during the Battle of Arras. Sadly, neither was musical.
