It is a cold foggy morning. I
had a weary day yesterday with idle conferences.
I saw Northcliffe & told him that I though
his letter very ill-advised. We dined
with Ian Hamilton & Sir William
Robertson. To day I am going
to see Venizelos. I get home early
on Saturdays, & the children always have
a little entertainment where they recite.
Alice is getting very good at it.
