My dearest wee Mother
We are having brisk cold weather for the beginning of summer time, On Saturday afternoon I went with Susie to a Labour Education conference, where I found Haldane. Yesterday was full of snow showers. Fleming preached another good sermon. The church was packed with a V.F.D. Parade. In the afternoon I took the children for a walk in St James' Park where they saw the German aeroplane & tank.

The little Nelson boys are coming here on Wednesday on their way from school, & going up by the night train. We are immensely looking forward to Nan to-morrow evening. I will meet her at the station with a carriage. When does her train arrive?
We must get fairly busy looking for a country house. I have my eye on one near Oxford.
We are all very well. How are you, wee body.
Much love to all
