My dearest wee Mother
This is winter fairly this morning. It is a cold thaw & snowing hard. If the weather permits I will walk to Elsfield in the afternoon. We are all very well. last night & went to a meeting at Barnet House, which Mansbridge addressed. I had to make a speech. We got home about 10. I am going to the Oxford Caledonian Club dinner next Monday.
You seem to be having it very stormy in Scotland. I had a letter yesterday from Kelman in New York. [ST: Dr Kelman Presbyterian minister]
I do hope you are all well
Much love, wee body
