Dear Sir
I have just read your delightful book "Huntingtower" with great interest - as I have for a long time thought, what an excellent training for boys the Scout Movement was; likewise Girl Guides. So I am passing The Book round in hopes that it will create greater,

enthusiasm for the movement in Wetherby. There is one sentence in the book which amused me very much & I wonder if in place of Dr. MacMichael, I may read Dr. McLaren on p. 221. For a few years, I spent every Sunday morning reading to a dear old lady & we never varied it. The Church Service; & then the sermon dear Dr. McLaren had preached the Sunday before & which was published in the B.I. I had a hearty laugh as I read of "Mrs. Morran's custom" I sincerely hope she enjoyed it as much as I did & derived the same benefit. I sometimes wish I could have those days over again; but my dear friend like so many others has passed away. Thanking you very much for the Book
Yours truly, Mary Taylor
