My dear John.

I thought it right to let Mackenzie
King know the contents of your nice
letter.

He will be delighted to see Mr Baldwin
who would naturally, I suppose,
come as the guest of the Government,
but at the same time he asked me to
tell you, privately, that it is possible
there may be a general election out
here - and if so it would take place
