I am still kept busy writing
to friends & sometimes strangers
about the Memoir. Some day
if I attempt to revise parts of
the Indian Journals for possible
publication, I shall ask you to be good
enough to reread them, as without
your blue pencil, I am sure I shd.
get too long winded - but I can hardly
believe the public could be interested!
& I expect I shall go on thinking about
it till I am dead! _ I wonder if
you wd. care to have the two Laszlo
prints of Minto & self as my Xmas present
to you. I dont think you care for
full dress pictures, & I wonder if you
have space on a bedroom wall for
them? - or is there any special photo
