I read in the Jedburgh Gazette (which is only too apt to be incredibly misinformed) that at the formal opening of "Queen Mary's House" on Aug 28th "The Marquis of Lothian, W. John Buchan M.P. & other prominent personalities will be present - writers of note whose facile pens made

the story of Scotland's Queen of world-wide renown" etc etc
If, as I hope, there is a crumb of truth in this statement will you & Susie come & stay here? It would be a great pleasure.
Katie I understand is to receive a gold key upon the occasion which will be some conpensation for ravages that burglars have recently made at Kenry House during our absence.
I am rather less wormlike, I think, since I came here & left off drugs.
