Queen's University, 29th March 1864

This day the College Senate met & was constituted. Present Professor
Williamson in the chair, Professors Mowat, Dickson, Fowler, Lavell,
Kennedy, O Yates, Bell & Murray.

Chemistry students
withdrawn

The Minutes of the previous meeting having been read & sustained,
Professor Bell begged leave to withdraw the complaint which he
had laid on the table at last meeting, inasmuch as there was no reason
for any further action of the Senate with Regard to the conduct of his
students

The following Report was then read by the Dean of the Medical
Faculty

It was unanimously agreed to recommend the following
gentlemen to the Senate of the University for the Degree of Doctor
of Medicine Hugh Brigham, Myers Davison, Andrew T Dunn, M.D.,
Thomas M Fenwick, Edward C Foss, James H Gleeson, Sidney D
Grasse, Walter A Hoare, Robert H Preston M.D., Duncan
Macintyre, Wiliam S. Millener, Abram A. Searle, James Taylor,
William N. Thornton, Philander G Hartman

(Signed) John R. Dickson"

In accordance with the Recommendation of the Medical
Faculty the Senate unanimously agreed to confer the Degree of
Doctor of Medicine on these gentlemen, & Resolved to meet on Thursday
the 31st inst. for their laureation

The meeting was then closed with the benediction.

Hall and was constituted. Present Professor Williamson
in the Chair, Professors Mowat, Dickson, H Yates, Fowler,
Lavell, Kennedy, O Yates, Bell and Murray

The minutes of the previous meeting having
been read and sustained, the Chairman proceeded in
the name of the Senate & by authority of the Royal Charter
of the University, to laureate the gentlemen on whom
