Police Station Adavale

[?] March 1924.

The Chief Protector of Aboriginals.
SOUTH BRISBANE.

Dear Sir /

In reply to your
Memorandum of the 6th Instant I beg to advise that there are
no Aboriginals in this district, either old or young, and I am
therefore unable to obtain any information from Aboriginals
regarding Aboriginal place names and their meanings.

I have spoken to a number of the older. residents of this dist-
rict regarding the origin of place names about this locality
but they were unable to give me any assistance in the matter.

Yours faithfully
L. Jorgensen
Protector of Aboriginals.
