Dear Sir,

In reference to your memorandum of
the 5th December last, regarding places with Aboriginal
names and their meanings. I have to inform you that
there is only two aged Aboriginals in this district, I have
interviewed them but they are too old, and dont seem to
know the meanings of the different places in this
district.
