Cleveland Family Collection

Jeremiah Cleveland (1774 - 1845) was one of the first settlers into Greenville. In 1804 he opened a mercantile store which he operated until 1826 when his sons took over management. The Cleveland family was a prominent family in Greenville County with many communities, parks, and towns named after them.
