{a Minor} Shelby County, } Special Term Mch 23rd 1896
{Est. of} Present, D.R. McMillan, Judge
{Order apptg} In the matter of the appointment of
{Guardian} a Guardian of the Minor Child of [blank space] Fowler
Deceased--
On this day comes M.H. Fowler and presents
to the Court his petition in writing, under oath,
praying that he may be appointed Guardian of
the person and Estate of Henry Fowler, minor
heir of [blank space] Fowler deceased, and it appearing
to the Court, from the allegations contained
in said petition, that the said minor, as
represented is a resident of this County and
possessed in his own right of an estate in this
State, which estate is estimated to be worth
about One hundred and fifty and 00/100 Dollars, and
has no father living, or other legal Guardian
in this State--And it further appearing that
the said M.H. Fowler is the Grand Father of the
said minor, and a fit person to have the
management of said minors' estate; it is
therefore ordered that the said petition be
granted, provided the said M.H. Fowler first
file in this Court his bond as such Guardian
in the pinal sum of Three hundred and 00/100
Dollars, conditioned and payable as required by
law, and with such security or securities as
shall be approved by the Court.
And now again comes the said M.H. Fowler and
presents to the Court his bond in form as
required by law with J.H. Weldon, G.W. McGowan
M.M. Fowler and M. Fowler as securities thereon; and
the Court being now sufficiently advised
concerning said security, it is ordered that the
said bond be taken approved and recorded.
It is thereupon ordered that letters of
Guardianship of the Estate of the said Henry
Fowler minor, be granted to the said M.H.
Fowler and that he be and hereby is authorized
