The State of Alabama Shelby County } By the county court of sd County, To William N Arnold Shff of sd County & State aforesaid . Whereas Martin Red late of sd County Deed intestate having whilst living and at the time of his Death Divers goods chattles rights credits within the county and State aforesaid and we Defining that the goods Chattles rights & credits of the Deceased may be well and truly administered converted and Disposed of. Do hereby grant unto the sd B Arnold Shff in whose fedillity we very much confide full power by the tenor of these presents to administer the goods chattles rights & credits of the sd Deceased which to him in his lifetime did Belong and to ask receive & recover. To pay, the Debts in which the sd Deceased stood bound as far forth as the goods chattles rights & credits land tenement & Heriditaments Being fully Sworn to make a true and perfect Inventory of sd goods Chattles rights & credits and to exibit the same into the office of the Clerk of the County court at or before the expiration of three Callender months from the Date hereoff and to rend[torn] a Just and true account Calculation & reconing of the sd Administration when thereunto required, And we do hereby ordain Depute and constitute you the sd William B Arnold Shff Administrator of all and Singular the goods chattles rights & credits of the sd Deceased Witness Thomas W Smith Judge of sd County court this 15th January in the year of our Lord 1822 James Walker Clk CC
