time appointed for the annual
meeting, if only to adjourn. At
our last meeting, you will re-
member, organization under the
Constitution & Statutes was suspended
until deemed expedient by the
Board, so that I am not sure
that we have any "Chancellor,"
or any officer authorized to call
special meetings, unless it be
the Executive Committee. But
I presume no harm will come
out of the irregularity of procedures,
& that no question will be
raised as to the legality of the
meeting proposed to be held at
Columbia in Octo. But I think
Bp. Otey wd do well - & perhaps
save trouble - if he wd send
the call (by circular) to each
