Dunwich with its pitiable inmates is terribly
depressing. I went only once, but never again. Quite a
number are mental (with or without disease)

I do remember the woman you mentioned - she
was friendly with Hazel. The family interested me
very little. That seems a tragic accident of her s. in law's.

a single handed sailor, is at present in the harbour.
His 25ft launch has just brought him from Tahiti.

The gale continues to howl & drive through the
cracks in the hut. It is quite chilly. I run a full
mile before training each night without being
winded.
