Met Major Edwards & had join up on the troop deck. he quietly informed me that he wanted me to attend Communion & Church parade. I made all good resolutions but I cannot promise to keep them.

Heavy weather experienced old Pt Denison [?] pitching like - having to having no cargo aboard. gale still menacing at 6pm.
