Turned out at 9.30 had breakfast in town. Party then visited Holyrood Palace. Return back to Station & caught 11.30 train to Newcastle. Jack & Jim remained so as to catch trains to their respective destinations. Arrived N'C about 5 pm & at last saw 107 5:30. The remainder of the night to the early hrs of next morn were spent in sitting around the fire talking & ---. Bill and I had ripping hot bath prior to turning in, it was simply great to be in the dear old feather bed again.
SATURDAY 4
As Micky had to go to the office during the morning: Bill and I went into N'C where we did some business met Micky returned in time for dinner. During afternoon M & I sat around the drawing room fire & afternoon passed away pleasantly. During the night we all went to the Theatre where an enjoyable time was spent.
