rare plants as listed in the collection may
be conveniently obtained. The total
number of planters of native seeds of plants
annual and perennials shrubs and
tree and vines is now 70 varieties
for the obtaining of which the Department
has entailed no expense as it does not
feel able to assume the same. This
collection should yet be made as compleat
as possible both for the necessary stock
for the Public park improvements
The furthermore of important exchanges at
home and abroad, as well as to
fullfill the conditions entered into
with the Institution named in
last month's report.
