The Honorable Mayor & Council of the City of Seattle.
Gents:
I stand ready to furnish the lumber
required for the use of the City of Seattle for the year
1885&6 at eight dollars ($8.00) per thousand feet at my mill.
According to the bid connected with my name in
the published proceedings of the last meeting of the
Council -Sept 8- and to give sufficient guaranty
that the hauling of the same shall cost no more
that from any other mill.
