Description
E. W. Brady submitted a claim (not included) against the City of Seattle, claiming he was run over by a runaway fire team. The event was to have happened during the burning of the Cudahy Packing Co. Building on Railroad Avenue in February 1894. Byron Phelps, mayor, wrote "The appearance of Mr. Brady is certainly in his favor". The investigating committee did not support Brady's claim.
