Seattle. Gentlemen
your petitioners would
respectfully represent to
your honorable body that
we are the lawful owners
of Lots Nos 7&8 in Block
No 40 Maynard's Plat of
the City of Seattle. Said
lots being situated on the
west side of South 8th Street
between King and Weller
Streets in said city.
that we and each of use
have erected large and Costly
houses and improvements
on said lots and each of
them which are now upon
the same. That your honorable
body has heretofore passed
an ordinance providing
for the grading of said
South 8th Street in Front
